We get a lot of questions from people both new and old to the neighborhood and are using this page to organize helpful resources.
Anyone can join the FCA to participate in meetings, social events, cleanups and other activities. All residents of the neighborhood regardless of membership stat at the FCA are allowed to vote on RCO related zoning issues and are encouraged to attend related meetings and voice their opinions. Membership with the FCA entitles members to vote on FCA related elections, support our various causes, and participate in events we organize.
Zoning
The FCA’s main responsibility as is relates to zoning is to assess and present the neighborhood’s views on variances applied for at the ZBA. If no variance is required, the applicant is not required to present to the FCA.
Crime and Safety
When in doubt call 911 to report crimes in the area.

2100 W. Girard Updates
We have set up a google group. You can email (2100-girard@fairmountcivicassociation.org) any tips photos or other issues you have related to the facility. You can email board@fairmountcivicassociation.org to join the group where you can see information we have gathered and collaborate with neighbors on issues.
If you witness a crime or there is a medical emergency please call 911 and describe what you are witnessing. It is important to describe the behavior that you witness and not whether the person is homeless or not. If you encounter trash or drug paraphernalia use 311 to report.
